Anyone who connects with people on the mindset and psyche level has a great moral responsibility. There has to be a commitment to protecting the minds, hearts and souls of the people they help, while still creating the transformation that they desire.

They need to create massive change without destabilizing people, and then safely guide them into action. Simply put: the practice and programs we create need to be safe spaces.

We can’t just be great marketers and salespeople. It has to go beyond the surface level and singular points of advice. We cannot do this kind of work if our ethical standards are unbalanced.

Sadly the current market and the people operating within it tend to fall short of this standard. Right now with so many people needing help, we need to understand what true mindset mastery looks like.

Why are surface level mindset experts so dangerous to the human psyche? How can we collectively raise the bar of mindset training? In this episode, mindset disruptor, Kelly Sullivan Ruta talks about the work she’s doing to promote ethical mindset coaching.

3 Things We Learned From This Episode

- What mindset mastery means

True success in mindset is about mastering yourself, learning how to evolve and overcome your own deeply rooted self limitations. We need to do it in a strategic and science-based way that creates long-term change.

- Why the most qualified people sometimes don’t promote themselves

Many of the most qualified people don’t step up and promote what they do. They’re carrying limiting beliefs about visibility and whether they can feel safe putting themselves out there. Being verbal or open was deemed unsafe to them at some point in their history, and they did not fully resolve that psychologically.

- How to reach our full potential

If we’re not willing to face the darkness and do what it takes to access the light, then you’re not going to become who you have the potential to be, whether that’s in your business or your personal life.
